The artists who will accompany Noel and Liam Gallagher on stage this summer for the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour have been revealed by sources.

Fans have been wondering who would be part of the live band for these phenomenal shows since the iconic Britpop pair reunited and announced their global stadium tour, Oasis Live ’25.

Speculation regarding the lineup of the band has run rampant. Reports in the beginning indicated that there would be no original Oasis members aside from the Gallagher brothers involved, with members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds making up the difference. Rumors spread further when drummer Alan White posted a photo of his Union Jack-themed drum set. Meanwhile, original drummer Tony McCarroll expressed skepticism, stating, “They haven’t reached out yet, and to be honest, I’m not holding my breath,” referencing their past legal disputes.

Regulars such as Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Zak Starkey, Jessica Greenfield, Russell Pritchard, Chris Sharrock, and Mike Rowe were all rumored to join. In a joke, Liam joked about a line-up consisting of Peppa Pig, Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street, and the finger bobs.

Now, reliable sources have announced the ultimate line-up for the summer’s Oasis gigs:

Andy Bell – Bass
Back in his 1999-2009 role, Bell will be returning to play the bass. Having replaced Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan, Bell formed Liam’s side band Beady Eye. Bell has also played with indie greats Ride and supergroup Mantra Of The Cosmos alongside Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder and Bez. Bell’s latest solo album, ‘Pinball Wanderer,’ saw him reunited with old Oasis bandmate and long-term fellow traveller, Gem Archer.

Gem Archer – Guitar
Archer, who joined Oasis in 1999 as a replacement for Bonehead and stayed with them until their split in 2009, will be back in his usual place. After Oasis, he toured with both Liam and Noel’s ventures, such as Beady Eye and High Flying Birds. His work includes Heavy Stereo, Proud Mary, and even Paul Weller.

Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs – Guitar
Bonehead has been a predictable inclusion from the very start, considering his frequent presence alongside Liam throughout the latter’s successful solo stint. Now, the fans can celebrate as he accompanies Noel and Archer on stage for this historic reunion.

Joey Waronker – Drums
New addition to the Oasis line-up, Waronker has a very impressive CV to his name, having toured with Beck, R.E.M., Elliott Smith, and Roger Waters. He is also part of Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace and Ultraísta with Nigel Godrich. Waronker drummed for Liam and John Squire’s joint album last year. Sources say there’s lots of excitement within the camp to have this seasoned musician on board.

The Oasis Live ’25 tour will kick off in Cardiff on July 4, followed by a string of UK dates before traveling to North America, South America, Australia, and Asia. The band’s message to fans when announcing the reunion was:

“The guns have fallen silent.
The stars have aligned.
The great wait is over.
Come see.
It will not be televised.”

Though ticket sales in the UK leg were controversial owing to dynamic ‘surge’ pricing, now investigated by the government, Ticketmaster also axed thousands of suspected bot-bought tickets, much to the frustration of some fans who protested claiming they were unjustly accused.

Piling on the suspense, Liam had teased a new Oasis album. When one asked, “Is there any truth that Oasis is going to have a new album?” Liam had replied, “Yep, it’s already done.” But he later shot down the rumour, declaring there was “no Oasis album in the works” and that he was “only joking.”

To mark the 25th anniversary of their fourth album, “Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants,” the band re-released the single “Whatever,” which, 31 years on from its original release, came close to topping the charts and fighting with Kendrick Lamar.

They share the nominations list with New Order, The White Stripes, and Mariah Carey, another band making headlines as nominees this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Liam scoffed at the honor, declaring it to be “for wankers.”

The stage comeback of Oasis has long been on the cards with fans globally, eagerly looking forward to experiencing some incredible music with the group geared up for their historic return.
