BLACKPINK has now become the first K-pop artist ever to hit the 1.5 billion mark with three different music videos: “BOOMBAYAH” is the group’s third music video to reach the milestone, following “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love.”

BLACKPINK originally released the music video for “BOOMBAYAH” on August 8, 2016 at 8 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the song just over 6 years, 3 months, and 3 days to hit 1.5 billion views.
